Andrea
Originally from a little town in the panhandle of Idaho, Andrea married a Texas gentleman and is now happy to abide in a bigger town in the Texas panhandle. While she considers Texas home, Andrea's love for gardening began in the Pacific Northwest as a hobby and a way to decompress after stressful days at the office. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Oregon and nearly thirty years of experience in Sales & Marketing and Accounting roles, plus another seven years teaching at the university level. Growing iris is so much more fun than all of that!

Georgia
Georgia grew up in her family's kitchen garden, spending her summer and weekend mornings weeding and tending the garden with her parents and sisters. Over time, her grumbling over being awake at 7 AM on a Saturday grew into a passion for agriculture and plants that took her to Texas A&M to study ecology and botany. She has built a career as a biologist, botanist, and genetics specialist, and now enjoys watching her own daughter in the garden.
